Moët Hennessy's The Q: This BBQ-fest hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri replaces the popular BubbleQ event, which has been put out to champagne pasture. Participating chefs are still being confirmed but you can expect chicken and ribs and brisket and pork buns and lots of Moët to wash it all down. Tix to this one will go fast, even though they're $300 a pop.
When: Thursday, February 23
Conscious Bite Out with Geoffrey Zakarian: The chef at Dream South Beach's Tudor Housewho was a ubiquitous guest and participant of last year's festheadlines his own event in 2012; one for all the locavore do-gooder types who'll enjoy a little education with their bites and nibbles. While most SBWFF events take place on the beach, this one gets bonus hipster points for being held over in the Wynwood Arts District. Tickets are $175.
When: Thursday, February 23
Trucks on the Beach: The food truck phenomenon finally comes to this: Andrew Zimmern weaving his way through a bunch of them parked on the beach. Trucks signed up for the closing-party event of the festival (so far) include CheeseMe Mobile (which we heartily recommend) and Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. Tickets are $95.
When: Sunday, February 26
