Any night of the week in Nashville, local musicians, all of whom are hoping for their big break, can be heard playing their hearts out in the bars that line Broadway. Music lovers, not just country fans, must add a stroll down Nashville's Broadway to their bucket list. Here are our top three picks for the best music venues in Nashville:
The Stage on Broadway, 412 Broadway, was featured in the movie (Garrett Hedlund performs Friends in Low Places here) and is probably the most infamous of all the Broadway clubs. The Stage features live acts everyday starting at 11 am. You can check out their their full schedule here.
Tootsie's Orchard Lounge, 422 Broadway, has been a Nashville staple for more than fifty years. They not only welcome new acts to audition for a chance to play on their sacred stage, they also frequently welcome music superstars like Kid Rock who played at Tootsies a couple months ago. Tootsie's is open daily from 10am to 2:30am.
Robert's Western World, 416B Broadway, is a favorite of locals, for their traditional country music, delish burgers and lack of tourists. Robert’s is open Monday through Saturday from 11am – 3am and Sundays from 12pm to 3am and on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for a Sunday Morning Gospel Fellowship.
