These are Pretty Much the Coolest USB Flash Drives Ever

Is it Christmas 2011 yet? Because we already know what we want: airplane tailfin USB flash drives. FlightGlobal discovered these beauties a few days ago, and now that Gizmodo has picked up on the scent, it feels like the entire internet is drooling along with us. It's just too bad they start at $58 for one 4GB model and hit $120 for a 32GB. You can buy a used iPod on eBay for cheaper than that.

Anyways, the price doesn't keep us from romancing these things with our eyes. What a way to say you're an aviation geek! But then you totally know that the look you're getting from the person across the aisle is one of pure jealousy. And if that stranger thinks your cute, maybe this would be the perfect conversation starter for them to use: "Hey, where did you get that?"

The vertical stabilizer USB drivers are made by Bader Models and they're missing many major airlines, like Delta, Southwest and Lufthansa right off the of our head. What's more is that their options for Air Canada and JetBlue are plain sad. Nonetheless, we're head over heels for the soon-to-be-classic Continental tail, the clean Cathay Pacific perfection and the most obvious one, from Korean Air.

Perhaps the airlines will take a hint and start making these themselves...maybe in time to send to their frequent flyers as holiday gifts? Hmm?
