· Delta:
They’ve been beefing up their presence in Boston lately, and it looks like Delta isn’t done yet. After announcing some new options—including a nonstop flight to Pittsburgh—Delta is now flying between Boston and Norfolk, Virginia. The new planes will head back and forth thanks to an extra comfy regional jet on April 1, but it’s hard to complain when you no longer are forced to connect somewhere. The flight time is also convenient to allow for connections to London through Boston.destinations.
· Spirit Airlines:
Even though there’s really no reason to fly aboard Spirit Airlines—we just can’t trust them—they are offering up a new option as of April 1. Instead of focusing on vacation destinations, it looks like this new route is pure business. The ultra low cost carrier will begin sending some planes between Chicago-O’Hare and Los Angeles. The flight back east is a redeye—you’ve been warned.
· Vision Airlines:
Things must be going well for Vision Airlines, as they already looking for another option out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new flights will connect passengers to the beaches and sunshine of Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida beginning on March 25. The new routes will start at just as $79 each way, but if you book by the end of the weekend you might be able to score a fare as low as $49.
