Our three writers, two of whom smacked down $699 for the AYCJ-7 pass and one of whom opted for the $499 AYCJ-5 pass, will be checking in with us throughout their month of bopping around the country and the Caribbean. First stop? For one, it's New Orleans, and rest assured that there will be plenty of Las Vegas "layovers" in there as well.
And it's not just adults who are embarking on the AYCJ journey; we met one Brazilian mother, Claudia, who's toting her young son Dylan along for the ride as they discover America together. Having already flown in from Washington DC this morning to New York, the duo has ambitious plans to hop around the west coast after finishing up in the Big Apple. You can follow her on Twitter @claudiabia and him on Twitter (so cute!) @littlejetsetter.
The veterans of last year's debut AYCJ Pass are back as well; we chatted with Matt McCall (@McCallYouCanJet) whose first stop is Seattle, and Clark Dever (@netsetjet), who already flew in from Buffalo to start his month of stops, seeking to grow his photography business along the way.
To everyone out there making some of their travel dreams come trueespecially our contest winner and all those unemployed folk we talked to who are using their savings and couchsurfing the whole waywe'll be rooting for you! Let us know about your travels and anything cool by emailing us here.
