September 16, 2010 at 4:14 PM | by | ()

The rush to install Full-Body Scanners at airports around the world has not died down. In fact, since our last update only two months in July, we can already add seven more airports to the list. One of those is international, and believe it or not, it's at the Regina International Airport in Saskatchewan!

This summer also saw Tennessee's two largest airports—Nashville and Memphis—get their scanners installed, and beware the full-body scanners in Pittsburgh and Rochester, even. They just keep coming. f you haven't been faced with the decision of "to scan" or "not to scan" yet, consider yourself fortunate. Although your luck could run out very soon, what with the continued proliferation of the machines.

Intrusive body scanners

Talk about getting personal, these full body scanners are a little intrusive. I am all for safety but what will be next, getting naked? I am going to hit the Gym.

Ft. Lauderdale also has the full body scanners as of 3 weeks ago.

MCI airport in Kansas City also has them. I was subjected to it last week.

Oakland (OAK) also has them.

Add FWA to the list

I flew out of FWA on Aug 29, 2010 (Fort Wayne International - Indiana USA) and they now use a full body scanner machine.  I didn't catch the model though.
