Lady Gaga Has a Bad Romance with the Crowd at Chicago's Lollapalooza

Lady Gaga may not have been a crowd favorite after her last Lollapalooza appearance in 2007, but she made up for it this year.

Before she hit the stage for her own performance at this weekend's fest, Gaga crowd surfed, wearing only a fishnet body suit, during Semi Precious Weapons' set. The band's frontman, Justin Tranter, thought it was "amazing," explaining:

She stood on the side of the stage, and then during the song 'Magnetic Baby,' she started playing drums with Dan. Then she started singing backup vocals, then her and I made out, and then she stagedove and then I joined her while she stage-dove. And then we made out while stagediving. And then she left.

As she was being passed around in the crowd, one fan even took advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity by licking Gaga's stomach as she went by.

Later on, Gaga took the stage for her own show and this time, she stayed there. She told the crowd, "My name is Lady Gaga. I thank you for coming to my show. I didn't used to be brave. In fact I wasn't very brave at all,' she told her fans. But you have made me brave, little monsters. So now I'm going to brave for you. Tonight, I want you to free yourself."

Lollapalooza takes place annually in Chicago's Grant Park. If you're already gearing up for next year's Lolla, you can sign up for the fest's newsletter to get breaking news like when Early Bird Tickets will go on sale for Lollapalooza 2011.
