On Saturday, Showtime threw a bash for their nominees at SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. The network honored Michael C. Hall who was nominated for his role in Dexter and Edie Falco who won an Emmy last night for playing the lead in Nurse Jackie. The network's other stars, including Paul Schulze, Dominic Fumusa, Merritt Wever, Stephen Wallem, Lenny Jacobson, Anna Deavere, and Arjun Gupta were also there to celebrate Showtime's success.
The Sunset Marquis has been a favorite with celebs since it opened in 1963. Rates for a junior suite start as low as $285 a night but can run up to $545 for one of the hotel's luxury Villas.
Currently, the Mondrian is offering a deal which includes breakfast for two and guaranteed entry in SkyBar starting at $340 a night. We heard some of this year's nominees took advantage of the deal and stayed here over the weekend too.
