At this point we’d expect the stand-up seating argument to pop up on another few low cost carriers, but we’re happy to find out that some airlines are just saying no. The head honcho over at Qantas pretty much said it ain’t happening aboard Qantas and Jetstar, citing safety concerns. He recognized that it’s a great way to get some attention, but that in reality it’s just not practical or probably possible. We’d have to agree with him on that, but we kind of want to see some airline prove him wrong, as long as we don’t have to test it out ourselves.
