Air New Zealand's New Pre-Flight Safety Video Not So Naked Anymore

August 24, 2010 at 4:17 PM | by | ()

We know it may be hard to believe, but it seems that Air New Zealand has finally tired of their naked flight attendants safety video, which you can see here. Now showing onboard their domestic 737 flights is a fresh and new airplane safety demonstration vid, one that features hunky rugby players. But don't worry, someone still gets naked in the end.

The rugby-themed video was filmed with a slew of famous faces (famous to Kiwis, at least) from the All Blacks team and their devoted fans. A brush with one of the players causes a fainting flight attendant to reach for an oxygen mask and thus we learn what to do when the masks drop down. In another small scene, an FA snaps a cell phone photo with a player, and then they instruct everyone to turn off electronics during takeoff and landings.

Like past videos and ad campaigns by Air New Zealand, the concept is fresh, modern and a little sexy. Too bad it's only on their domestic flights. Do you recognize some familiar faces from the naked video in this new one? We do!

Still funny however...
