Ted Danson was Chelsea's Biggest Celebrity Wedding Guest

Despite rumors that Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg and even President Obama would be attending Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky's wedding, star-gazers in Rhinebeck, NY were left largely disappointed as guests started arriving in town on Friday.

The affair wasn't completely absent of celebs though. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen were mobbed by the media and fans as they arrived at The Delamater Inn on Friday. The Clinton's rented out the entire historic inn for wedding guests, which definitely wasn't cheap. Rooms at The Delamater range from $125 - $300, including breakfast.

Ted apologized to the media when he realized they were the only celebrities in attendance and Mary explained exactly what they were doing there. "I knew [Chelsea] since she was a baby so this is a big moment," said Steenburgen. "She's a lovely, lovely girl."

Chelsea's wedding dress designer, Vera Wang, and former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, were also on hand and, according to one guest, they all, "partied like crazy" at the reception.

Of course, the absolute biggest names at the wedding were the Clinton's themselves. On Friday, Bill had lunch at Gigi's on Montgomery Street in Rhinebeck and then walked a few blocks, greeting fans and local residents who had gathered outside. Not too bad for a sleepy upstate New York town.
