Jetblue Releases All-You-Can-Jet Passes for $699, $499

Omg omg. They promised they'd do it again, and they are! We're hyperventilating over here at Jaunted HQ as Jetblue has just announced the second All-You-Can-Jet Pass. This sweet ticket, available for purchase now and only valid for flights between September 7 and October 6, comes in two plans: the AYCJ-7 for $699 and gets you onboard any Jetblue flight within that time period, seven days a week, or the AYCJ-5 for $499, which gets you onboard any Jetblue flight from Sunday-Thursday (no Friday & Sunday flying).

The original pass, announced almost exactly a year ago this time (so technically, we should've been expecting this), was only $599, but this year's two-plan option offers greater budget flexibility even as it takes away schedule flexibility. Whatever it takes to get you out there and flying around!

Of course awesomeness such as this has some terms and conditions. While domestic taxes and fees are already included (score!), international and Puerto Rico ones aren't. Also, you've got to book each flight three days in advance (no waking up and deciding to go to LA for the day), and you can't pass it around between friends and family members—it's just for you. You can buy the pass now here and you can begin booking flights with it on August 23.

If you're flexible enough to take full advantage of this, a business traveler for whom this would work great, or just looking to become a minor internet celebrity like a few of the AYCJ-ers from last year, you'll get 4,200 TrueBlue points with the purchase of an AYCJ-7 and 3,000 TrueBlue points with an AYCJ-5. You may also change or cancel your flights during the month for free if you do so three days before the flight, your must stay at least one night in the city (no two flights involving the same airport in the same day) and if you no-show for a flight, you'll incur a $100 penalty.

If you're seriously interested, make sure to read up on our past coverage of last year's successful AYCJ pass and then study up on the information on their website, including steps on how you'd go about booking your bevy of trips.

If you think of it, this All-You-Can-Jet pass is like a Eurail pass, but um...in the sky and in North America, and that works for us.

Two corrections

First, the cheaper AYCJ pass excludes Fridays and Sundays, not Fridays and Saturdays. Second, the airport restriction is as follows: "Booking multiple flights departing from the same city on the same day is prohibited; any such bookings will be cancelled immediately with the exception of the most recently booked flight." In other words, you can arrive and depart a single airport in a day, to visit multiple cities, but you can't transit any airport more than once in a day (e.g. RDU-JFK-MCO is legit, but JFK-RDU-JFK-MCO is not).
