Things are pretty hot and heavy for terminal construction over at Delta now that they’ve secured the funding to bring their JFK facilities in line with other modern airports. They’re so excited that they have even sent out some pretty nice conceptual renderings of what the new place will look like.
Things appear open and airy with plenty of glass and natural light to bring the outside in. It seems that the focus is appropriately on the sky as white, gray, and Delta blue seem to be everywhere you look. If you’re going to spend a day above the clouds, you might as well feel like you’re doing so as soon as you check in.
It’s all just on paper for now, but if things actually look this nice when all the bulldozers and construction workers head home, we’ll be nicely impressed.
