· Air Berlin:
It’s always a challenge to score a decent fare across the Atlantic, but Air Berlin is one of the ones making it possible. The somewhat low-cost carrier will initiate service between Berlin and Miami twice weekly starting on November 1. Mondays and Tuesdays will be your chance to escape the nifty fifty, and the one-way fares will set you back about $310. Maybe with a sale things will get even cheaper—we can hope!
· Delta:
Want to go to Washington? If so, Delta has you covered more than ever. Starting this October, the airline is expanding service to nine new cities. Hartford, Columbus, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and St. Louis are the locations that will now serve Washington-Reagan National Airport. Additionally Boston and Indianapolis are getting a couple extra flights to boost their preexisting schedule.
· British Airways:
If you’ve already made your way across the pond, but still want to continue on to somewhere else, British Airways can help you out. They’re starting up service from London City Airport—how convenient—to Copenhagen. British Airways CityFlyer will operate the flights, and the new routes will begin on September 12.
· Ryanair:
By this point you should probably know about the pluses and minuses of choosing Ryanair, but love them or hate them they’ve got the lowest fares around. They want your vacation dollars as they’re announcing three winter routes from Cork in Ireland. They’ll be heading to Faro, Portugal as well as Fuerteventura and Malaga in Spain. Sorry Aer Lingus, but these new routes will start at just €10 each way.
