Can you even believe that it was only two months ago that Lufthansa welcomed their first A380 to their fleet, and now they've already got another?

We were there, in Germany and onboard, when the first A380 named the "Frankfurt am Main" went for an inaugural flight over Holland and northern Germany, and we'll never forget it. This week, the "München" was christened, and appropriately by Alpenhorns and a flight over the snowy Alps from Munich Airport.

This time, the seats onboard the first flights were sold, bringing in over 100,000 Euros for charity, and the flights didn't go anywhere but back where they began!

Yes, the A380 is worth it, too. Once you experience their in-flight entertainment with the three live exterior airplane cameras, you may find it reappearing in your dreams. (As has happened with us...shhhh). Keep your eyes to the sky for the double-decker superjumbo when one of them come your way, but there'll be no Lufthansa A380 love the United States quite yet. These babies are so far promised on routes to Tokyo, Beijing and Johannesburg.
