KLM Brings Apple iPads to Airport Lounges
Over at our sister site HotelChatter, we've been tracking all the hotels around the world who've jumped on the iPad bandwagon, doing everything from including iPads in guest rooms to offering them for rental. Now it looks as though we may have to start our own list, that of airport lounges adding iPads as an amenity.
The first iPads in airline lounges happened this week at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, as KLM installed tables of the gadgets inside of their Crown Lounges. They even managed to replicate the clear plexi iPad display bases used in Apple stores.
Unfortunately you will have to be a KLM frequent flyer with club access or fly on a business or first class ticket in order to touch these, but I think we all know that a table of 8 iPads would just not work in a general boarding area with hundreds of people. So...what airline lounge is next?
