Kind of like what Universal Studios is known for, the park will also have a factory tour attraction that will reveal all the top secrets behind how exactly they can make all those plastic bits fit together so darn well. Those looking for a totally new Lego park might be a little disappointed, as this Florida one will have a lot of similar features as the park out in California. Fun Town Fire Academy and a Duplo play area for the little ones are just two of the duplicates.
The big news is that the water shows and the botanical gardens will remain at the new park, and officials are hoping that these features will give the newest Legoland a unique advantage over its theme park siblings. The water ski shows will get a little Lego addition to keep them somewhat relevant to the rest of the park. We’d tell you when tickets go on sale, but our wall calendar doesn’t go that far—the place won’t open until fall 2011.
