The company's testers have made sure that it's usable on most American, Jet Blue, and Delta flights as well as almost all domestic bus trips.
The product is being targeted at germaphobes who are worried about the E.coli that resides on the faucets, doors, and handles of airplane toilets; as well as those who are afraid of the bacterial water that gets sprayed by airplane toilets. We sincerely have no idea why covering your airplane seat with what seems like a giant condom with space for a travel pillow would matter—and don't get us started on obnoxiously shaped travel pillows.
We might be able to wrap our minds around the seat cover product pitch, which is to say that we can follow what they're supposed to be doing. What we can't picture—and this is true for everything from the Sure Fit Transit Cover to in-flight productivity valets to homemade pool floatie pillows—is the actual physical act of pulling out the product and using it on an airplane.
Are there business travelers out there who strut toward their seat and make a point of doing their own thing, like they're jaded road warriors and they don't even notice the people around them? Is it an ethos thing, like the row-mate who volunteers information about his TSA-approved rubber SkyMall shoes, because those extra few minutes make all the difference in getting to a flight on time?
