Cruises to Get Even More Decadent with Chocolate Breakfasts

Cruise ships these days... What don't they have? You can install real grass one deck for a 12-hole putt-putt course, turn the funnel into a rock climbing wall, and even create an entire planetarium at sea in a modern boat. Just as cruise lines continue upping the ante with onboard amenities, they're also constantly reinventing typical cruise offerings, and yes—this includes the all-you-can-eat buffets.

Royal Caribbean is introducing free chocolate breakfast across their entire fleet, as they have just finished testing the idea on their largest and newest boat: Oasis of the Seas.

CruiseCritic reminded us of it this morning, including a taste of what's on offer: "chocolate waffles, pancakes, milkshakes and more!" The chocolate breakfast magically appears early in the morning on the final sea day of the voyage, in the main dining room. For those who are trying to avoid packing on the pounds, the Royal Caribbean ships are also rolling out cereal bars, including muesli and granola. But will they have chocolate granola? That is the question!

Not for me thanks

I don't think this is for me at all, I think I would actually be sick. At first I thought it was a cultural thing, more appealing to americans, but it seems the idea went down quite well on U.K. based forum http://www.cruises.co.uk
