Luckily for other airlines with 787s on order (like Continental, who's scheduled to be the first US airline with a Dreamliner), their pilots won't need much extra schooling for the new planes. Since many features are similar to 777s, pilots with 777 ratings who have been doing their homework will only need five days of training for the 787.
So what did the ANA pilots think of the plane? Well, Tsukamoto says it best: "today my dream came true." No word on whether or not ANA will install their women-only lavatories on the 787.
