Like we said, tickets are free, but you will need to pick them up since seating is limited to about 150 people. You can grab them online as well, but you get stuck with a $1 per ticket fee for doing so. There’s only one catch to a little baseball fun on the water—there’s no transportation back to Manhattan. The water taxi is one-way only, so ensure that you are familiar with the subway in order to get back home.
If baseball isn’t your thing, this would also be a pretty neat way to get to LaGuardia to catch a flight—for Mets games not Yankees games. Just make sure you bring a couple extra bucks for a regular car-based taxi to take you the rest of the way.
