There's a line out the door all night on the weekends, so we stopped in at midnight on a Monday and found a tiny spot at the back to sample the talk of the town. The $8 Big Star Queso Fundido is melted cheese from Chihuahua (not the dog, the region), rajas poblano, housemade chorizo and fresh tortillas. Washed down with a Modelo and then a Dulce de Leche milkshake, it's the perfect late night treat. The taqueria opened last November, so this is their first spring andwhen the weather gets righttheir first al fresco summer with their huge front patio area. And that's Chicago for yakeepin' it simple and keepin' it tasty.
