Keep Up With 'The Joneses' and Demi Moore in Atlanta

The Joneses, starring David Duchovny and Demi Moore, hits theaters today. The movie is about a family that moves into a posh suburban neighborhood where they show off the latest gadgets, the hottest clothes and the nicest rides to their unsuspecting neighbors. But, under it all, they are really a fabricated family made up of stealth marketers whose only goal is to push products. The movie was filmed in Atlanta in 2008. Here's a look at how you can keep up with The Joneses on our next trip to ATL.

Where to Eat:

The movie's director, Derrick Borte, spent much of his downtime in Atlanta exploring the city, which is how he discovered the DeKalb Farmers Market. He said the market "was a nice place to unwind. I would literally go walk the aisles." The Market Restaurant serves fresh meals with heavy emphasis on fresh vegetables. Daily specials include fish, meat, chicken and healthy vegetarian dishes made with organic and natural ingredients. They're best known for their homemade lasagna and signature samosas. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11am to 8pm.

Where To Stay:

In true keeping up with The Joneses style, Loews opened their newest hotel in Atlanta on April 1st. Loews Atlanta is located in midtown Atlanta, within walking distance to the Woodruff Arts Center, the High Museum of Art, the Fox Theatre, Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park. All of their rooms and suites offer exclusive ultra-comfy bedding, bath products by lather and doe-skin bathrobes. Rates start at $189 a night.

The home used in the movie is located in a neighborhood just outside of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. Real Housewives of Atlanta fans will recognize the neighborhood, as its very similar to the ones where the Real ladies live, not to mention, the show's stars Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak make a cameo in the movie as The Joneses' neighbors.

What To Do:

Demi Moore filmed a scene at Muse Salon and Spa in the fall of 2008. The spa is a favorite of the who's who in Atlanta thanks to their premium services like the Slimming Body Mask ($120) and Detoxifying Body Wrap ($85). The salon's owner, Daniel Jones, is a bit of a local celebrity and was even a finalist for Bravo's Shear Genius but turned it down so he wouldn't have to leave his business while filming.

How Hot is Demi?

Now really, does Demi look 47 to you? I read here (http://www.diets24h.com) about her killer diet and I can't believe her crazy workout routine. :))
