How To Get Tickets To The Kentucky Derby

April 13, 2010 at 3:00 PM | by | Comment (1)

Get out your best hat and heels because The Kentucky Derby is right around the corner and we have all the scoop on getting the best seats in the house.

All of the seating inside Churchill Downs for the derby, which takes place on May 1, is reserved seating. These tickets can only be purchased online but should be purchased in advance since they usually sell out pretty fast. Right now, there are still reserved seats available starting at $60.

Cheaper options, after the jump

For as little as $25 you can buy standing-room only tickets which includes access to the Paddock Area, Infield, and all other standing room only areas for Oaks or Derby. Usually, these tickets are still available during derby weekend since Churchill Downs doesn't restrict the number of people allowed in the infield. The Infield also has a reputation as being the place to be if you want to party!

This year, fans will also be able to enjoy the race in the comfort of the Bacardi Infield Club. The Infield Club is an ooutdoor hospitality area located in the center of the Churchill Down Infield complete with jumbo TVs, concessions and betting windows. Tickets for the Infield Club start at $75. Hope you like mint juleps.
