In the last episode of The Amazing Race, the cowboys climbed to first place, which was quite a feat since they almost got eliminated the week before. But dad and daughter left the pack. Only five teams remain. Who will get cut this week?

Find out after the jump.

THE RACE

From Malaysia, the racers have to travel more than 400 miles by bus and train to Singapore. They get a warning that a U-turn may be ahead. The detectives and the South Carolinas agree that if they hit the U-turn first, that the divas will be the first to go. When one of the cute bros points out that the divas had never won a leg, Michael replies, "It does not matter. They’re the most well traveled out of everybody." On the train from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, the divas try to get to the front of the car, but are blocked by the other teams. "They want to push their way through, try and bully their way through," Mr. South Carolina says. "Ladies get their way. Bitches don’t."

Once in Singapore, they go to Victoria Concert Hall and Theater and search for Allan Wu, host of The Amazing Race Asia. We were hoping to see Wu in Phil mode, but we only watch him read the paper and handing out the next clue. The cute bros meet Wu first and find the race's only Fast Forward, which allows them to skip all of the challenges and head straight to the pit stop, Marina Barrage. The guys go for it and head to the Singapore Flyer, the tallest observation wheel in the world. They ride in it to the top, at 541 feet, where they have to leave their capsule and walk along a metal beam to the adjacent capsule—don't worry, they are harnessed. Jordan suddenly is petrified and looks like he is going to cry, though he manages to do it. "I'm just surprised I didn't pee myself," he says afterward.

DETOUR
During this detour, racers get to choose between pounding the drums and pounding the pavement. In the first detour, teams learn a complex drumming routine and then perform it with a troupe. In the latter challenge, teams set up a treats stand and then sell 25 ice cream sandwiches, a dish with a literal Singaporean interpretation, with ice cream sandwiched inside between a slice of bread.

The drumming task proves to be way hard. The cowboys and divas struggle with it. A drumming instructor, who looks to be about 7 years old, quickly schools the ladies, who are lost. "He's smoking crack," Brandy says. The rhythmless detectives abandon the drum set and try out the ice cream challenge. The fast-talking guys sell that ice cream on bread like hotcakes. "Ice cream from crazy Americans!" Louie shouts to the crowd.

Mr. and Ms. SC rock out on the drums and get through on their first try and travel to Istana Park for their next clue. There, they find a U-turn and they decide to give it to the divas because they have been mean to the Ms. for her infamous pageant speech. When the ladies master the drums, they visit the park and are livid when they see that the South Carolinas U-turned them. "They U-turned us because you’re prettier than she is," Carol says. "She’s an idiot and she’s on YouTube to prove it.” Brandy adds, "That shows their level of intelligence. We haven’t won a leg. You eliminate the stronger teams. You don’t keep the stronger teams in to wipe their asses up."

The detectives happen upon the U-turn and are happy their "wolf cubs" the South Carolinas fell for their plan and chose the divas to do the U-turn. Apparently, the detectives played up the divas' threat to ensure the guys themselves wouldn't get that dreaded task.

ROADBLOCK
From the park, the teams hang out in a shipyard, where they must complete a roadblock. A racer must go through and count up the 521 links on these humongous chains, all while workers are hammering metal and other noises throw them off. The teams surprisingly handle this task with ease, and Michael even had a counter on him. The groups them have to go to Sentosa Island to fly 1,200 feet on its zipline, one of Asia's longest and steepest.

PIT STOP
That Fast Forward helps the cute bros sail straight to the pit stop first, winning motorbikes. But the bros say they won't be using them because mom would be upset. The South Carolinas come in second and the cowboys grab third.

OUSTED
Unfortunately, the U-turn was a huge setback for the divas. They were in last place and got eliminated. "Dumb did us in," Brandy says, referring to the South Carolinas.

NEXT WEEK
You'll have to wait two weeks to get your TAR fix. Things are getting down to the bottom, and four teams are left to battle it out for the grand prize.
