Forget Your Phone On a Trip? Paris Hilton Says FedEx It

Where: France

Paris Hilton left for a romantic getaway to France yesterday with her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. She took a few minutes out from lounging around with her "love" to keep us all updated on their trip via Twitter:

Just checked into the hotel :) Our villa is beautiful, we have our own jacuzzi and pool. So private, relaxing and romantic! I'm in Paradise. :) Loves it!

Late last night she sent a second Tweet, that some might think was a little too much information:

In bed cuddling and watching movies with my love. :) Life is great!

Sounds like a good time, and it's too bad she was such a hurry to leave; she forgot her most important accessory:

I was in such a rush out the door that I forgot my blackberry. So I'm going to have it fedexed.

A quick search on FedEx.com reveals that shipping a cell phone from L.A. to France on next flight delivery set Paris back about $150.00. That might not be much for a hotel heiress, but for most of us, that would be a big chunk of our vacation "mad money."

Have you ever left something behind while traveling? Let us know if you coughed up the shipping charges like Paris, learned to live without it, or found a more creative way to deal with your missing must have.

My boyfriend left our house keys in our Jamaica hotel room. We didn't realize it until we were at the airport trying to get into our car to drive home. Fun times. We just left the keys there and had new ones made. It was much cheaper that way.

Cell phone

I made a trip to Orlando from Ohio in January 2009 and left my cell phone at home. I had it sent UPS Next Day as it's vital to staying connected to my job. Of course it cost me more like $45, but I would have done it for $150 as well.
