A Complete Look at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park, Opening June 18

HUGE news this morning as Universal Orlando finally announces the opening date of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park: the big day will be June 18, a Friday.

After Universal Studios teased us muggles for months now with little glimpses into features of the park, at least now we have a final date. Of course we expect tons more little glimpses to come out, as the park will have to begin training staff in the coming months, and people do have camera phones. But until then, let's reviews what we know they'll have:

· The park is separated into two main area: Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village
· There will be at least two roller coasters, one based on the Triwizard Tournament and one on flying on a Hippogriff
· Inside of Hogwarts Castle will be the star attraction, a state-of-the-art experience called "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey." And we've got all the details on it. Check out photos of it and more here!

· Greeting you at Hogsmeade will be the Hogwarts Express train, which sadly doesn't move
· Other experiences straight from the books and movies are Ollivander's wand shop, Albus Dumbledore's office, The Owl Post where you can send actual letters, shopping at Zonko's joke shop, Dervish and Banges, Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods and more.
· Dining includes Honeyduke's, Hog's Head Pub and Three Broomsticks. Just think of all the butterbeer, Bertie Botts, chocolate frogs and British food that will be consumed!
