For the Next Two Weeks, AirTran's In-Flight WiFi Will Be Free

If you still haven’t made your spring break plans, you might just want to consider having AirTran give you a lift to a sunny destination. Not only will you be able to enjoy one of the best in-flight magazines around, but you’ll also have access to free in-flight WiFi.

AirTran is partnering with American Express to offer free Internet in the skies from March 13 through March 27. AmEx is just looking for some publicity, so there’s no need to use their card to book your flight or anything. Just hop on board and wait for the flight attendants to give the okay to sign online.

For those that have an AmEx through their business, AirTran is offering a 5% discount when booking flights over the telephone or on their website. It’s not too big of a discount, but every bit helps. We just hope that speeds remain somewhat constant when there’s over 100 people onboard frantically updating their Facebook status and watching last week’s episode of The Office on Hulu.
