Although we still don't have an official opening date for Universal Studios Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, we do now have the first contest to attend the opening bash. Thanks to the TODAY show this morning, we have a live glimpse of the Hogwarts Express train, some of snowy Hogsmeade, and peeks at Honeyduke's and more. All of this while the TODAY show correspondent detailed the contest that will send one class of schoolchildren down to Orlando for the park's opening yet this spring.

So how do you get your child and their class down to Florida for a 3-day, 2-night Harry Potter extravaganza? Well, the class's teacher has to submit a video entry answering this question: "Why is my class extraordinary?" The contest runs until March 26, so hurry up!

The jury is still out on whether or not the kids will have to bring lots of pocket money though, since the preview on the TODAY show makes it sound like the theme park is one big ad to sell Harry Potter products, which it is. But jeez—there's more to the creation of the place than just places to buy Bertie Bots and Gryffindor scarves. Or let's hope there is.

Sorry for the pun but my travel agent friend and Harry Potter fan has just returned from a preview tour and has assured me that both fans and non fans will not be disappointed! Booking my tickets right now!

I read and downloaded many reviews on this place from http://www.pdfok.com SE and decided to visit it myself eventually. The park looks like fun but there's something wrong. There's so much sun. Everytime I read Harry Potter or even hear Harry Potter I always think of England, the rain, the accents, the forests. I believe it would have been much better if it was in England, it would have been more authentic. Like in Harry Potter are they ever wearing shorts and tanktops? Don't get me wrong, it looks like an awesome park, but it's just not the same..... They need to make one in England, the home of Harry Potter.

Great event

I must admit that there is already tension in the air. People, starting from kids to grown-ups are all so much excited for this event and I must say that even I am thinking of being here at some time. However the issue as always is that there has not been any up to date information about the current entry fee structure. Furthermore, I am bringing along an older guy with me but he is having a bit of a health problem. The medical staff asked him to take it slow! Hope they mention about the facilities available there!nicki minaj

I'm soooo looking forward to this theme park!

I think it's pretty amazing that they'll build a whole World of Harry Potter theme park. Both me and the rest of my family love Harry Potter and wonder if the park is open yet? Too bad I missed the contest. - Rabattkod Nelly
