Where is MTV Partying It Up for This Year's Spring Break?
Everybody's done it—been channel surfing with you TV, and you flip by MTV and quickly spot their huge beach party, with gyrating bikini-ed girls and a hip host, and you're stuck in a trance watching while Jimmy Fallon shows up to introduce Nickelback to the stage. The show you're watching is MTV's Spring Break, and when before they had just a beach house, they've now expanded to a whole "village," taking over a massive all-inclusive resort in some tropical location.
So where will the action go down this spring break? MTV has teamed up with website StudentCity.com to turn Acapulco, Mexico into their place to be, and they want you—if you're a nubile young person of college-ish age—to join them! But think fast—MTV's Acapulco Spring Break begins this week!
If you're not in Acapulco, just turn to MTV to watch the same show they've been doing for decades, just with different face. If you're in Acapulco, keep watch for the lines to enter the events and tapings outside of the official MTVu Village at the Playa Suites hotel. And be sure to heed this very important warning:
If you travel to Acapulco and decide not to go with StudentCity, bring your tennis shoes. You'll spend a lot of time in line and your feet will need the added support. Beware of the sock tan!
