Munich Airport's Airbräu biergarten

As if the service on Lufthansa wasn't enough, there's now a huge new reason to fly the German airline in business class through their Munich airport hub—they're getting a full-fledged biergarten!

Just announced today at the tourism conference in Berlin, the news of the Business Class biergarten comes straight from the top Lufthansa brass, as a huge welcome to the spring season. It'll open on March 23, and will be located in the Schengen departures area at Gate Area G in Terminal 2 as part of the 11,000 square foot Lufthansa business class lounge there.

So what's on tap? Find out, after the jump!

For those who will be availing themselves of Lufthansa's business class, the new biergarten invites you to "enjoy draught beer tapped from the barrel and Bavarian pretzels while relaxing at traditional beer tables overlooking the scenic Bavarian Alps." But for everyone else (ah hem those in economy), you'll still have access to a biergarten at the airport; Munich airport has their own traditional outdoor biergarten outside of security, in the Airbräu restaurant (pictured above). Beer all around!

And come summer, you'll be sharing that Lufthansa biergarten with passengers heading to some of the airline's newest destinations, also just announced: Rostock-Laage, Germany; Bari and Palermo, Italy; Zadar,Croatia; Chisinau, Moldova and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
