Amazing Racer from Current Season Named in Drug Scandal

Uh oh—there's trouble on the trail as an Amazing Race star has been named in an investigation into illegal drug activity. The racer, who's a Rhode Island cop currently racing as part of the 16th season of the popular realty show, is only in for bumpy roads ahead as TMZ uncovers the details:

According to the Rhode Island State Police, Louie Stravato has been put on "desk duty" -- after his name came up in a "four month" investigation into a "large-scale" cocaine distribution operation.

The upside to all this is that Amazing Race is definitely not a live show, so it's not like the racers—and this cop—are out there in the world somewhere, where's he could be in danger of being ejected from the show. It's already been filmed, and thus you'll find Stravato actually on desk duty and not guzzling beer on the road in Hamburg, where we left off with Amazing Race this week.

Although we don't know if he and his teammate, another cop, were the ultimate winners, we can't help but wonder what would happen if they did win the million and then we implicated in this scandal. Would they have to return the money? We'll keep our ears to the ground for more news on this.

Reasons

I do not see a reason why people , that too gifted by birth itself should engage in anything like this. I mean, they have a bright and gallant career. They could make millions, perhaps billions had they stayed loyal to their field. But it seems drugs are their mode of option when it comes to getting rich. The last famous guy I heard was Diego Maradona. So many in between as well and now this! It seems these people care less about their health as well as their life!

Not good

This could be a huge problem for this racer. I hope he isnt involved in this drug scandal. This would be really bad. Oak Dining Sets

Louie and cocaine?

Please share some updates on this story, it's really shocking to hear that Louie may be involved in a "large scale cocaine distribution operation. What's wrong with the world? Even the people you least expect are involved in drug activities... If he wins the money and this story is try he may use part of them for an drug addiction treatment or to pay the bail and avoid jail, if this is even possible.
