Tweet Of The Week: Another Celebrity Discovers In-Flight WiFi
We love Tuesdays. Why, you ask? Because the day brings many travel tips and quips as "Travel Tuesday" on Twitter, and we're going to share our favorite with you. Got an avid travel twitterer we should follow? Let us know.
We love it when people, flying like usual up in the skies, make their first discovery of in-flight wifi and immediately set to tweeting about the miracle of it. Today, in-flight wifi claimed a celeb fan in John Lennon's son, Sean Lennon, who was amazed that it's even available in economy. We wonder if that's even possible, to keep a WiFi signal business or first class only, but we doubt it.
Here's what he shared from 35,000 feet up:
Now they have inflight wi-fi in economy! Imagine having to have gone 6 hrs w/out tweeting..phew! Reading Nat Geo carnivorous plants piece.
Since Sean spills on his twitter that he's on his way to San Francisco, we wonder what airline he's taking. And since we ran into him in New York City a couple times last week when he was in town for DJing various Fashion Week events, we're guessing that he departed NYC. Could it be Virgin America? Perhaps the world will never know...until Sean flies again and resumes in-flight tweeting, we bet.
