· United Airlines:
Each year there are several airlines that run fantasy trips to destinations like the North Pole for kids and families that need a little boost to their holiday spirits. United Airlines ran their annual Fantasy Flight last week out of Phoenix, and more than 100 kiddies got to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and all the elves at the North Pole.
Alright—you caught us—they didn’t really go to the North Pole (although we kind of did). However, the children did go for a little bit of an airplane ride, and when they returned back to the ground, they found the airport terminal was decorated like a winter wonderland. Even though this year’s flight is over you can still share a little this holiday season. United’s Fantasy Flight is always looking for a few extra donations to get a couple extra toys.
· American Airlines:
For the fifth year in a row American Airlines is getting ready for its Snowball Express events to take off from Dallas this week. American’s holiday charity mission helps out the children and families of fallen military heroes by bringing families to Texas for a little extra magic during the weeks before Christmas and New Year’s. There are a couple surprises for the families this year, but the known fun includes a day at Six Flags Over Texas as well as a performance by Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band.
American flies families into the area on charters as well as their regularly scheduled flights and puts everyone up at the airport Sheraton in preparation for a few days of fun. If you’re looking to give a little this season, then Snowball Express would love whatever you have to share.
