Odd Things You See on the Street: Super-Thin Houses
When you travel to another country, you are prepared to see places you'd love to live and others you'd rather not. But what about the curiosities of architecture found in Japan, where the smallest strip of land can be made into a multi-family house and the grassy grounds of the Imperial Palace are worth more than the entirety of California's real estate? That's when you see crazy stuff this the above, a super-thin house we happened by in the neighborhood of Asakusa, Tokyo.
Would you live here, considering the house is pretty much no wider than the width of a queen-sized bed? We're thinking of what an awesome hotels this place would make!
In any case, little discoveries like this are just one more argument for letting yourself wander down alleys and get lost in a new city.

The house from up the street. Obviously it was once a plot of grass or something

The house from the side; see it really is livable!
