TSA's Enhanced Pat-downs Get Their Own 'Baggage Handler' Foursquare Badge
There once was a time when we thought that the JetSetter badge was the coolest Foursquare badge out there. And then along came their partnership with in-flight wifi provider Gogo, resulting in the increasingly awesomer Mile High badge. But for the busiest travel day of the yeartomorrow, the day before ThanksgivingFoursquare has blown us away with this: the Baggage Handler badge.
It seems that Foursquare created this badge, one without any corporate sponsors, in response to the full-body scanning and enhanced pat-down controversy of late. How timely!
OMG. We need this now...which brings up a good point. How does one earn the Baggage Handler badge? To get the badge, you must check in at a US airport during the next few days. For good measure, shout something that includes either "TSA" or the word "touch" in it. Thankfully having a TSA agent grab your "baggage" and ask you to cough twice is not a requirement, but you never know what kind of mood the agents will be in when you go through security...
