Attention Texans: Win Party Passes and RT Tickets from Virgin America

Attention residents of the Lone Star state, but more specifically those of you in DALLAS: On December 1, the airline of mood lighting, cocktails and in-flight WiFi is landing at DFW for the first time. That's right, Virgin America is coming, with routes from LA and SF, and they're throwing a huge party at the Opera House, with Richard Branson, a performance by LMFAO and a "smoking" secret legendary musician.

But wait, there's more: We're giving away two VIP tickets to the party and two tickets for main cabin roundtrip flights on Virgin America! The flights can be used anytime through 2011 with a 21-day advance purchase and the exception of a few blackout dates. Therefore we need a winner from the Dallas area, who can make it to the party on December 1.

Texas might have been having a bad sports year, losing the World Series and watching the Cowboys bumble around the football field, but it is all coming back around with this give-away.

Here's how to win...

We've been to a few of Virgin's parties before and umm...yeah you don't want to miss this. If you just want to score 20% off Virgin America flights, you can donate as little as $5 to Stand Up to Cancer now.

To enter, just leave a comment below saying what part of Texas you're in and who is your favorite Texas musician. We'll randomly choose a winner on November 29 and email the lucky cowboy/cowgirl with all the details. You've got until November 28th to tell your Texan friends too!

First of all... SO excited that Virgin is coming to the Dallas area. I might actually finally visit my little sister in LA now... I'm in the Dallas area and my favorite Texas musician has to be Willie Nelson. But there are so many musicians/bands with Texas roots that I love! Pick me and I'll be there with boots on!

Super interested to see how Virgin is going to play in the Dallas area airline game. So many interesting players! I live in the Dallas area and my favorite Texas artist is Pat Green. Nothing says Texas more than two-stepping to one of his tunes with a Shiner!

I'm down in Austin and can't wait for Virgin to come here. As for Texas artist, There are so many to choose from but I'm going to go old school. I would have to say Janis Joplin is my favorite Texas artist. It could also have to do with the fact that we both come from Port Arthur.

Virgin America, please come to Austin!!

I can hop up to Dallas from Austin in a New York minute for a party! I am a 4th generation Texan, and there have been so many wonderful artists from Texas. However, I have to say that Willie Nelson still holds my heart. I have never seen him in concert, although I have stood behind at a grocery store checkout line several years ago!

To many to choose

Im in Fort Worth and I could be like most and say Willie Nellson but I only know a few of his songe I know all the movies I seen him in he is funny as hell and ofcourse George Strait is one of my fav country singers how ever im more of a rocker and would have to say give me some Butthole Sufers, Pantera, Drowning pool and Element 80. Be mighty sweet to win a trip i've never been in a big plane before lol. For that matter, I have never really been out of Texas.
