'Tron: Legacy' Pop-Up Shop to Open in LA on November 19

We're still trying to get used to the fact that Tron has gotten a big flashy Disney sequel, Tron: Legacy, due out in theaters on December 17 but it's clear that none of this would have happened without Tron Guy whose own electroluminescent Tron costume was an internet sensation back in '04.
Fortunately, if you love Tron but aren't keen to show off your bits in a flesh-colored unitard, there's a way to don Tron fashion without fear of embarrassment. If you happen to be in Los Angeles over the holidays, the Japanese maid café, Royal/T in Culver City is opening a Tron Pop-Up Shop on November 19.
The cosplay-style cafe/retail shop and art gallery will sell couture Tron fashion for women and men from a variety of designers as well as Tron-inspired jewelry, athletic duds, board shorts from Hurley, Oakley sunglasses and collectible Tron: Legacy artwork from the film.
Each week, the pop-up shop will unveil something new but you may not want to miss the TRON Family Fun Day on December 18 where the whole family (or your group of friends) can decorate a mini-lightcycle from Spin Master. The pop-up shop will even serve a special Tron menu including the Reco burger with buffalo patty ($12), a Lightcycle endive salad ($8), an Identity Disk Cake ($6) and even a special Tron: Legacy High Tea ($25 per person.)
We're a little astounded by all this merch for Tron: Legacy, particularly the couture items which can go for as much as $2,600 but then again, it is far cooler than this.
The pop-up shop will be open from November 19-December 23 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily, with extended hours on Wednesdays to 10 p.m.
