Rob and Kristen arrived in Rio last weekend where they checked into the Copacabana Palace. The Copacabana is one of the most famous and luxurious hotels in Rio. Currently, they are offering a special New Year's Eve Package, which includes accommodations and breakfast. Rates start at $1,021 for five nights.
On Sunday night they caused quite a stir among Twihards when they filmed a romantic kissing scene at a street party in Lapa, which is considered the "bohemian" district of Rio.
On Tuesday, the pair left for for the coastal town of Paraty, where a private residence, Casa Em Paraty, will act as the “Isle Esme” honeymoon suite where Bella and Edward will spend their (not so steamy) wedding night in the movie.
Casa Em Paraty is available as a fully furnished vacation rental with its own private beach, but its not cheap to live like Edward and Bella; the minimum three night stay at the house costs $14,000.
On Tuesday, they shot at the Taquari waterfall, just outside the center of Paraty, where the real-life couple (or more likely their stunt doubles) jumped off of the waterfall and into a pool of water below.
Filming is only expected to last a few days in Brazil. Rob and Kristen should be back in Baton Rouge, LA to continue filming by next week.
