Remember to zoom in, out and around on the map—with so much happening in each episode, it's easy to miss a map point.

In the last episode of The Amazing Race, the racers went to the Arctic Circle, a first for the show. The docs, who have consistently been behind in all of the legs, surprised everyone with a first-place finish. Tinkerbell had a meltdown and couldn't finish a sledding challenge, but it was the Gleeks who sang and danced into the sunset. Eight teams are left. Who will get kicked off next?

Find out after the jump.

THE RACE
From Swedish Lapland, the racers have to drive to Narvik, Norway. On the drive, we learn more about the remaining teams. "I am the most hyper, energetic, dedicated, passionate person anyone's probably ever met," home shopping host Brook says. Um, she's definitely right on the hyper part.

Younger YouTuber explains that he's finishing up college and this is his last time to be in a living sitch with his pops. YouTube dad adds, "This race is the last chance we can sleep together, eat together, travel together, pee together." Junior just shakes his head in embarrassment. The volleyballers stress they aren't there to pal around with the groups. "It’s a race; it’s a competition. This is not 'Amazing Friend,' it’s 'Amazing Race,'" Rachel says. "We will do what it takes to win," they add. They better, because they are in last place at the start of the leg.

The docs make it to the mountain first and find they have to go on a gondola. Nat is super-scared of heights, but she endures. It's a piece of cake compared to the later roadblock... When they get off of the gondola, they find an amazing view and a fast forward.

FAST FORWARD
For this fast forward, racers get to partake in a Norwegian Christmas tradition, and unfortunately, it’s not glogg. Teams must eat a whole roasted sheep's head—and it looks nasty. The first team to finish, can go directly to the pit stop. We find out that doc Kat has been a vegetarian for 22 years, but she digs in anyway. They wonder what the heck they are eating and guess that it's an eyeball. "Mmm, crunchy," Nat says. "It tastes like money," Kat says.

Meanwhile, the other teams have to go to Skjombrua Bridge, where they hit a roadblock.

ROADBLOCK
A team member must go rappel off of the side of the bridge. When they are at the end of the rope, they have to signal a boat to give them the next clue. Then, using a mechanical ascender, they have to climb back up the rope. The dad teams work together, and Young YouTuber and Miss Kentucky’s pops are the first to rappel. Hairy and home shopping host Claire are next, and the latter can't seem to pull herself up. When her fellow host tells her to breathe, Claire snaps back, "Just shut up," and starts crying.

The tatted couple try the fast forward, but find a sign at the restaurant that says "Fast Forward Taken." They don't understand what that means, so they decide to go to the next task. Tatted girl is pumped for the rappelling and rocks it.

After ascending the rope, the teams have to find Harvika, in a remote mountainside. Young YouTuber is the first to get there and encounter a detour.

DETOUR
In this detour, teams choose bike or boat. For bike, they hop on mountain bicycles and pedal a grueling course to find a sign that has their bike lock combo. They must memorize it, ride back and unlock the combo to get the next clue. For boat, teams board fishing vessels and use a map to direct the captain to a particular spot; there they disembark and deliver humongous cod and a chainsaw to a house up on a hill.

YouTubers and home shopping hosts pick boat and the others go for bike. The bike path turns out to be super slippery in portions; Miss Kentucky and her two-wheeler take a spill. And self-professed pro BMXer tatted guy has to get off of the bike and walk it (while his girlfriend easily rides it). But lugging the heavy fish and chainsaw up the hill isn't a breeze, either. The home shopping hosts make it up the hill and, of course, kiss the man who receives the fish, putting their kiss count at seven.

PIT STOP
Racers finish the leg at Ankenes Marina. Thanks to their sheep's head feast, the docs snag their second consecutive win and earn a trip to Costa Rica. Miss Kentucky and her dad are second. Hairy and the hairdresser get lost on their way to the marina, but they make it third.

OUSTED
Peter Pan and the volleyballers remain in the back of the herd for most of the race, but it's game over for the volleyballers.

NEXT WEEK
The racers get immersed in Russian culture, including cinema, music and babushkas. And one of the home shopping hosts steps in poo.
