The Top Five Most Outlandish NFL Playoff Packages

Now that the NFL playoff picture has been decided, it’s time for fans across the nation to start planning their Super Bowl parties. If you think your team is going all the way, or you didn’t get that new TV for Christmas, it might be worth considering a trip to Miami to see the big game in person. Unfortunately, it’s going to cost you a lot of cash.

The Top Five Most Outlandish Football Playoff Packages:

· The $4,500 Roadtrip
The folks at Roadtrips.com will be happy to hook you up with everything you need for this year’s game in Miami. Standard packages start at about $4,500 a person and include game tickets, a few nights at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure, and transportation to the game. However, they will be more than happy to upgrade you to the Four Seasons Miami, get you tickets to the Pro Bowl the week before the championship, and fly you from anywhere in the country via private jet. There’s no quoted price for all the options, but if you just won the lotto, they’ll be happy to put together a custom package.

More pricey packages after the break…

· PrimeSport's Alumni Party
Over at PrimeSport there’s several options for high rollers that can’t just watch the game on television like the rest of us. At $4,750 per person you’ll be rewarded with three nights at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, tickets in the upper level end zone, daily hotel breakfast, and admission to the NFL Alumni Pre-Game Party. The party sounds pretty sweet as there’ll be an open bar, free food, and a chance to rub elbows with past NFL heroes. It’s likely that there will be some handsome ladies and gentlemen present as well in case you’re looking for a place to have an after party.

· Great Atlantic Travel Services goes Lombardi
If money really isn’t an object, then you’ll want to give a call to Great Atlantic Travel Services and ask for the Lombardi Super Bowl Package. It’s going to set you back $10,350 per person, but you will get lower level seats for the game. However, we’re a little nervous that fans are only getting a three night stay in a “Superior Hotel” in the Miami Gardens area. Hopefully the agent will disclose exactly what property will be yours before you whip out the AmEx to make that huge deposit. Even awesome seats can’t improve the view from the room if you’re stuck at the airport Days Inn.

· Charter A Yacht!
There are rich people and then there are truly rich people. The Advantaged Yacht Charters and Sales group are going after the truly rich with their villa and yacht rental options for the Super Bowl in February. There are no prices listed on their website which immediately means that we cannot afford it—probably not ever. However, they’ll be glad to speak with you about renting a four bedroom Mediterranean-style villa or asking how many life jackets you’ll need for your private yacht. You’ll be getting four tickets to the game with your rental, along with limo transportation, so make sure to bring a few friends.

· The Big Game Rooms
For just $5,000 per person—based on double occupancy of course—The Big Game Rooms has a few extra hotel rooms and game tickets waiting for you. Here, you’ll be spending four nights in an ocean view room at The Ritz Carlton South Beach. All the taxes, gratuities, and other stuff is included, so you just need to bring money for beer at the game. Upper level tickets to the game are one option for the base price, but swankier seats are available for additional cash. Too bad transportation to the game is via luxury bus—sounds like an oxymoron to us.
