'Jersey Shore' Will First Conquer Your Television, Then Your Vacation

Have you thrown or attended a Jersey Shore party yet? Apparently they are all the rage, and not just in clubs where the cast is being tens of thousands of dollars to appear. People are throwing these parties in their own homes, voluntarily giving themselves "guidette poofs" with bumpits, or blowing out the Pauly D hair in good fun.

After last night's episode, we're sure that the parties will spread to whole weekend-long events, since the cast headed even further down the Shore for a mini-vacation at The Tropicana in Atlantic City. Not surprisingly, they found more girls to "pound out" and more guys to "smush."

Where earlier in the show's episodes, everyone was taking offense at the tone of the show and claiming it detrimental to Jersey Shore tourism, we bet those on the Shore are seeing big money signs for the upcoming summer of 2010. We say this because if people are just beginning to host Jersey Shore parties at their places, in a few months when it gets warm, they might be intrigued by the prospect of heading to NJ for a weekend, seeing if the show faithfully represented the area.

There is also the prospect of the Jersey Shore becoming a destination for sex tourism. On the show, getting booty seems as simple as wearing a sparkly shirt to a club and then making it through the night without getting sick.

Will the 2010 summer at the Jersey Shore be one of perverts and voyeurs? We can only wait and see...
