During the series, we can expect the Fly Girls to interact with all sorts of passengers and probably give the in-flight WiFi some cameos, but there'll be even more to watch on the ground:
'Virgin has given us a very long leash,' said Colin Nash, one of the show's executive producers. 'They don't push their logo; they don't try to influence the stories. We're able to capture what's really going on in these girls' lives.' For just a sneak peek at that, there's a breakup with a wanna-be rock star, a single mom's difficult balancing act, agonizing on-again-off-again romances and, of course, infighting.
And if you find yourself drawn into the show when it begins in March and you're not part of the "Fly Girls" 18-to-34-year-old female demographic, don't worry; we're betting this series will gain quite a few male fans as well.
