During dineLA, you can expect to catch us chowing down on Cali cuisine at Campanile, which is housed in a structure built by Charlie Chaplin. Campanile's executive chef is Mark Peel, most recently seen on Top Chef Masters. And maybe we'll try out The Peninsula's Belvedere, the elegant Beverly Hills restaurant that specializes in contemporary American dishes and the only eatery in SoCal to win the AAA Five Diamond Award for 13 consecutive years. At least we have two weeks to decide.
The meals come in three pricing tiers: Deluxe Dining, $16 for lunch, $26 for dinner; Premier Dining, $22 for lunch, $34 for dinner; and Fine Dining, $26 for lunch, $44 for dinner. That Fine Dining option is a little pricey compared to New York Restaurant Week's $35 dinners, but for somewhere like the Belvedere, it might be well worth it.
Looks like the restaurant week menus aren't up on dineLA's site yet, but we recommend booking your reservation at noted restaurants now to ensure a table.
