For his new movie Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Taratino wanted to make a a spaghetti western that would use World War II iconography and star the world's biggest movie star. And this is how one of the biggest movie debuts of the summer was born.

The movie has all of Tarantino's usual trademarks: quick dialogue, cringe-inducing violence and creative casting, but it was filmed on location somewhere new for the Tarantino crew: one of Jaunted's favorite cities, Berlin. To slake your thirst to live it up just like Brad Pitt no doubt did while he was filming, here's our guide to partying like a rock star, or at least partying like a director who thinks he's a rock star, in Berlin:

Where to Stay:
While filming in Berlin, Brad Pitt packed up the whole brood and moved them into the Palais Parkschloss, an estate on Wannsee Lake, just outside of Berlin's city center. The palace comes with its own staff, a helicopter pad, and a full security team for a mere $44,000 a month.

$44,000 isn't quite in your budget? The Concorde Hotel Forsthaus, also in the Wannsee Lake region, provides scenic views from any room plus complimentary breakfast and in-room Wi-Fi for around a reasonable $122.00 a night. You can make reservations online or by calling +49(0)30/8 05 86 80.

Where to Eat:
Catamaggio Vino e Cucina was a favorite of the "Inglourious Basterds" cast and crew. Brad Pitt was spotted at the restaurant on two different occasions, once with Angie and a second time with Quentin. The restaurant, which has become the place to see and be seen in Berlin, serves classic Italian dishes. Prices vary but their standard four course dinner costs around $85. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.

What to Drink:
Tarantino's Bar opened long before Quentin Tarantino ever visited Berlin. The director's namesake plays his films on a continuous loop above the bar and displays posters and other memorabilia from his movies everywhere. Of course, it became a favorite hangout for Quentin and his crew.

In a recent interview, Tarantino explained what it was like at "his place": "The owner just loves my movies and he started that bar about three years ago never knowing if I would ever walk through the door and lo and behold I did. And he was real cool, too, he walked over to me and he goes 'welcome to your place..' and we had many parties there, we had many drinks there, it was a blast." Tarantino's is located at 163, nahe U8-Rosenthaler Platz, Berlin.
