Where to Eat:
The restaurant where Aniston and Eckhart share their first date is in Vancouver too but at one point in the movie Jen is carrying a Dick's Drive-In bag, which is a Seattle original. Locals who grew up on Dick's hand-dipped milkshakes and fresh cut, homemade fries will tell you there's no better fast food on the planet. And Dick's retro vibe comes with retro prices too. A shake is only $1.90, a deluxe burger is only $2.40.
What to Do:
Pretty much the only scene in the movie that was actually shot in Seattle is the opening scene at Pike Place Market. Pike Place offers way more to do than just a chance to watch guys through fish around. Along with a variety of restaurants and shopping, the market also hosts several special events throughout the year. Today, Summer Farm Days is taking place where local farmers fill the street with tents and farm fresh produce.
