We love airplanes, you love airplanes, so let's go look at airplanes! In our Prime Plane Spotting series, we'll let you in on all the best spots to whip out your cameras and binoculars for a piece of the aviation action.

On the Pacific coast of Canada, in Vancouver, there is a jetty ideally situated for watching landing planes. On almost the other side of the North American continent in Toronto, it's a Wendy's fast food restaurant that makes for the perfect lookout.

So grab something off the dollar menu in the drive thru, and then cut the engine in their parking lot and enjoy your Frosty while everything from Air Canada to Mexicana land above you.

It's Toronto's Pearson AIrport [IATA: YYZ] that is situated so nicely for a fast food dinner with a side of 747 on final approach. The Wendy's appropriately sits at the intersection of Airport and Orlando Roads, right at the end of one of the runways. If you're in the mood for something more sit-down, there's also a "Country Style" restaurant directly next door.

Despite all of the international air traffic at Toronto-Pearson, there is one fancy airline that you won't catch landing here: Porter Airlines, who prefer to keep their business over at the smaller Toronto-City Centre Airport.
