Texas To Welcome The State's First Ever Guy Stuff Festival

Folks in the Lonestar State are hoping that their latest idea is the start of something big. Organizers are set to open the doors to the first ever Texas Testosterone Festival in just over a week and their mantra is "grow a pair," which sounds like success (we kid).

Located within the Palmer Events Center in Austin, it’s a exhibition of all things manly. There’ll be talk of sports, hunting, fighting, and of course one or two pretty ladies wandering around.

Events will run on August 15 and 16, and despite being geared towards men, it’s billed as a family-friendly event. However, we’re thinking your wife might not want to attend what they’re calling The Greatest Bikini Contest in the History of the Great State of Texas. If you’re able to focus after the bikini babes take the stage or just need to calm down, you’ll have plenty of time to warm up for the fantasy football season with a mock draft.

For those tough guys in attendance, UFC’s Amir Sadollah will be making an appearance, and there’s a Jiu Jitsu Tournament as well. Video game tournaments will be available for attendees who are a little less equipped to handle a cage fight. Tickets are just $6 for each day of this “conference,” so it’s probably a good deal, even if it’s just for a solid afternoon of air conditioning.
