Dress Your Family In Eurostar Remnants and Virgin Hot Air Balloons

August 31, 2009 at 11:39 AM | by JetSetCD | 0 Comments

A couple years ago, we were all able to live our greatest dream of wearing repurposed airline seat covers, thanks to Worn Again, which turned worn-out covers from Virgin Atlantic planes into bags and accessories.

This year, they've taken the collaboration several steps further by branching out from Virgin to include Eurostar, and hiring UK designer Christopher Raeburn to create the products. And for the first time, all of the products are completely made in the UK.

We're most excited for the introduction of the Eurostar products, which include a commuter bag, messenger bag, and a wallet, and all made of upcycled old Eurostar staff uniforms.

Virgin has meanwhile moved on from airplane seat covers to the retired hot air balloons of Virgin Balloon Flights. From their bright red, lightweight and weatherproof material, Raeburn has fashioned items like a reversible jacket, parka, and shoulder bag.

Now if only we could get that jacket with "I Used To Be A Hot Air Balloon" printed on the back, we'd be happy; you've gotta gloat with fun products like these. To check out the line, hit up Worn Again; the range runs between £6.50 and £283.
