All this week, Jaunted contributor CMB will be giving us notes on her Dublin Field Trip. Any questions or suggestions? Let us know.

If you visit Dublin and don't wake up with a hangover at least once, you're doing something wrong. After all, they don't call it "Publin" for nothin'.

To cure the inevitable, Dubliners swear by Milk Thistle, no matter how much Guinness you had the night before. Milk Thistle is a Mediterranean plant that has been used for years as an herbal remedy for a variety of ailments including liver problems. You can find Milk Thistle capsules at most drug stores or natural food stores in the U.S. and Ireland.

Dubliners will also agree that washing down your Milk Thistle with a little grease doesn't hurt either. For the best greasy breakfast on the go, we suggest The Bagel Factory’s Bacon or Sausage Eggworks. Despite the restaurant’s motto, this is not the healthy alternative. The Eggworks sandwich includes scrambled egg, cheddar cheese, bacon or sausage on any type of bagel. The Bagel Factory has more than 15 locations around Dublin so they shouldn’t be hard to find either which is a plus if you’re head is pounding and you can’t think straight.

If you aren’t awake in time for breakfast, check out the lunch menu at The Dakota on South William St. The burgers are good but their thick, hand-cut chips are perfect hangover food. A cheese burger with chips is Є11.95, or you can order the chips alone for Є4.50.

Mores to the point, were you in Dublin at all or just ganked this from a guide book somewhere, where REAL Dubliners wound a few furrdinners up with tales of homeopathic heaven and charged a tenner to give ye a go of touchin' the lepreechin on me shoulder? Gobshite.
